Dr. Jaime Alonso GOMEZ has been a researcher and consultant for companies and/or institutions in more than 100 organizations across five continents. He is Doctor in Business and Administrative Sciences by the Whartos School in the Pennsylvania University. He holds postgraduate studies from Canadáand Japan and he has written books, chapters, articles and technical reports as result of his research works.

Currently, Dr. Gómez is Distinguished Professor of Strategy and International Management at Monterrey Institute of Technology in Mexico and University of San Diego in California USA. Before this, for 20 years, Jaime Alonso was National Dean of the Graduate Schools of Business Administration and Leadership (EGADE), Dean of the EGADE Mexico City, Dean of EGADE Monterrey and Associate Researcher at The USA-Mexico Center for Strategic Studies (All of these at Monterrey Tech, Monterrey, Mexico)

In 2005, Dr. Gomez received the “Dean of the Year” Global Award from the prestigious Academy of International Business, AIB. He is the first and only Dean from Spain and Latin America in receiving this award that recognize the vision and leadership in the innovation of internacionalization processes, quality of the educative programs, relevance of the curricula and the inclusion of ethics and social responsability in processes.

Jaime Alonso is a member of the Board of Directors of the Institute for Women and the Center for Women’s Leadership in Mexico.

Mónica LOPEZ SIEBEN

DegradadoFocused in people, search for coherence and likes learning from others and sharing what she discovers. Long-distance runner, persistent, listener, conciliator, units ideas and apparently oposite options. Above all a team player that develops long-term relationships.

With more tan 20 years of experience in management of postgraduate studies and continuing education within Higher Education Institutions, Mónica López Sieben holds degrees in Computer Engineering and Master in Business Administration by the Technical University of Valencia.

Her areas of expertise are in design and implementation of management models in higher education institutions, management of educational processes, new technologies applied in education and quality assurance and accreditation in educational processes.

Mónica Lopez’ activities include writing articles and book chapters and giving conferences about trends and state of the art of de Continuing Education sector                                                                            in a national and international context. Mónica López Sieben was a member in 2011 of the Continuing Education Expert Group of The Spanish Ministery of Education, which studied and advised about the development of the professional continuing education sector in higher education institutions.

Currently, Mónica López Sieben is Deputy Director in the Executive Education Centre (CFP – Centro de Formación Permanente) of the Technical University of Valencia (Spain), Secretary General of the University Postgraduate Studies and Continuing Education national Network (RUEPEP – Red Universitaria de Estudios de Postgrado y Educación Continua) and Vice-president in the Continuing Education Network of Latinamerica and Europe (RECLA – Red de Educación Continua de América Latina y Europa)
